Product Description
STEINEL XLED curved S (012076) is an anthracite outdoor LED floodlight with motion and twilight sensing. It lights an entrance, terrace or area around the home when movement is detected below the selected ambient-light threshold. The integrated 9.3 W LED system delivers 862 lm of warm-white 3000 K light.
The broad LED panel has an opal cover to diffuse the light. Manual panel adjustment helps aim it at the required area. Its plastic housing and passive Thermo Control cooling form a compact fitting just 160 mm wide.
How the sensor works
160° detection and up to 8 m reach apply to movement across the detection zone; direct approach reaches up to 4 m. Actual detection depends on mounting height, movement direction and temperature. The optimum mounting height is 2 m, with a maximum of 4 m. Sneak-by protection also detects movement directly below the fitting.
Local controls set the 2–1000 lux twilight threshold and 2-second to 70-minute stay-on time. A lower lux setting restricts switching to darker conditions. New detected movement restarts the timer. There is no basic-light mode, soft start or dimming. No app is required and the fittings cannot be interconnected for control.
The manufacturer specifies detection coverage of 89 m² for crosswise movement and 22 m² for direct approach. Electronic and mechanical range scaling are not provided.

Understanding the specifications
IP44 means protection against splashing water and solid objects larger than 1 mm; the fitting is not designed for immersion. CRI 82 describes colour rendering. The stated L70B50 lifetime at 25°C is a laboratory estimate of lumen maintenance, not a warranty period. The manufacturer also specifies LM80 L70B10 as a separate LED lumen-depreciation characteristic. Energy class F applies to the integrated light source.
No separate bulb is needed: the LED system is included. Neither the light source nor its control gear is replaceable. Follow the actual product marking and supplied instructions for wiring and mounting.
